The way information about Providers is presented to the general public on the CQC website

It is planned that from the end of September CQC will change the way that the public views information on health and social care services that they regulate. It is design to give clear and accessible information based on judgments made and will be visually quick for members of the public to establish if your service is compliant.

It is our understanding these visual markers will be displayed by each outcome area eg:

1: Standards of Treating People Compliant
2: Standards of Providing Care Improvements required
3. Standards of caring for people Enforcement action

The details in each outcome area will be updated with information taken from the last time the Outcome was inspected.

So if Outcomes 1, 2, 3, are inspected in September and then four months later Outcome 2 was inspected, only the details in Outcome 2 would change, 1 & 3 would remain as per the September inspection.

It is our belief that if you are not fully compliant in all outcome areas members of the public will be quickly put off your service when they review the CQC website for information.

Compass NE specialise in assisting providers become fully compliant, check our website for fully details.
